桜 Sakura Cherry Blossom

    
みなさん、こんにちは!


We had heavy rain yesterday but it is a beautiful day today.
Cherry Blossoms bloomed in early April in greater Tokyo.
It makes us feel like spring has come finally.
The photo is the Cherry Blossom tree after Tsunami hit.
Late spring has come for Tohoku region.

昨日東京地方は強い雨が降っていましたが、今日はとてもいい天気です。
   昨日(きのう): yesterday
   東京(とうきょう)地方(ちほう): Tokyo region
   強(つよ)い雨(あめ): heavy rain
   降(ふ)っていました: it was raining
   今日(きょう): today
   いい天気(てんき): nice weather
東京では4月の上旬に桜が咲きました。
   上旬(じょうじゅん): early month (1st – 10th of the month)
   桜(さくら): Cherry Blossoms
   咲(さ)きました: bloomed
桜が咲くとやっと春が来た、と感じられます。
   やっと: finally
   春(はる)が来(き)た: spring has come
   感(かん)じられます: (potential form) can feel
写真は津波にあっても、きれいに咲いた桜の花です。
   真(しゃしん): picture, photo
   津波(つなみ): Tsunami
   津波にあう: get caught in, suffer from
   ~ても: even though 
東北地方にも遅い春が来ました。
   東北(とうほく)地方(ちほう): Tohoku region
   遅(おそ)い: late

HAPPY EASTER Mie,

I love the Cherry Blossoms and Spring is my favourite time of year in Japan. It was a late bloom this year, but always great to see the beautiful colours.

I would like to suggest you to add romaji because no many people can read Japanese well.
